The Victorians held an obsession for shoes.  Harder to come by in those days, they were often custom made by a cobbler.  Few had the privilege of owning more than one pair worn until needing to be replaced.  Therefore, the shoe was very much a signature possession. Our favorite fellow laden with toys forms a whimsical holiday cornucopia of sorts. 12 x 8”.
